Welcome to the datasite for The General Assembly and Religious Politics in Scotland, 1638-1660.
This page brings together information relating to the annual meetings of the General Assemblies that took place in Scotland in the middle of the seventeenth century.
In particular and as far as is practical with the extant evidence, the website attempts to trace the people who attended the Assemblies.
The dataset will continue to grow in the coming months.
This page was created and is maintained by Chris R. Langley.
